  • Merkert Tracy Science Center: Originally constructed by Auburn in 1978, this building was fully gutted and transformed into Stonehill’s main administration building in 2010—demonstrating Auburn’s ability to adapt legacy buildings to new purposes.

  • Duffy Hall Education Center: A full reconstruction of a 90,000 square-foot academic building housing faculty offices, classrooms, a theatre, and TV studios.

  • Pilgrim Heights Dormitories: Five new ground-up dormitory buildings, delivered to support growing on-campus housing demand.

  • Multiple Dorm Renovations and Additions: Completed on-time across numerous summer sessions with detailed phasing and planning.

  • New Sports Complex & Athletic Facilities: Auburn constructed a state-of-the-art, 16-acre athletic stadium including a football/soccer stadium, soccer practice fields, and a new baseball stadium.

  • New Computer Science Building, Campus Chapel: Reflecting the College’s ongoing investment in both academic innovation and spiritual life.

  • Campus-Wide Support: Auburn has contributed to the development, renovation, or maintenance of virtually every facility on campus.

Since Auburn’s founding in 1971, Stonehill College has been a valued client and partner, entrusting us with over 200 construction projects across more than five decades. During this time, Auburn has worked with six different facility managers, building a reputation for consistent excellence, reliability, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of an active higher education campus.

Our enduring partnership with Stonehill spans nearly every type of construction—from ground-up new builds and major additions to intricate renovations and strategic alterations. Auburn has had the opportunity to work on virtually every kind of facility on campus, including smart classrooms, science labs, TV studios, dormitories, administrative buildings, libraries, athletic centers, data centers, and conference facilities. Each project has been approached with the same level of care, adaptability, and commitment to quality, allowing Stonehill to modernize and expand while preserving its institutional identity and meeting evolving academic and student life needs.

This decades-long relationship highlights Auburn’s core strengths in project continuity, campus coordination, and summer-schedule execution. Many dormitory renovations and campus-wide updates were strategically completed within the short window of summer recesses, delivered on time and with minimal disruption to campus operations. The ability to repeatedly perform under tight deadlines and evolving scopes has helped solidify Auburn as a trusted construction partner for Stonehill College.
