A new Compounding Pharmacy was constructed in an existing occupied space. The project featured a fully integrated EMS-controlled constant flow HVAC system that allows remote access to monitor equipment performance, room pressure, work hoods, humidity, temperature, and flow rates. The pharmacy was built in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Pharmacy Compounding facility standards and regulations. The installation included HD storage, HD buffer, non-HD buffer, and multiple fume hoods integrated into the BMS controls system. The clean rooms are equipped with interlocking touch-less door operation and pressure alarm automated email notification system to alert selected staff, HEPA pass-throughs, and an HD exhaust system.
