Auburn Construction is proud to have partnered with the House of Possibilities (HOPe) on the construction of a 12,000 square-foot, three-level facility dedicated to serving children and adults with developmental differences. HOPe is a non-profit organization offering a wide range of services, including community engagement, pathways to employment, coaching and college navigation, recreational and social activities, and overnight respite care. The new building was designed to be both welcoming and fully accessible, featuring offices, a living room, two kitchens, a dining room, a tea room, art, exercise, music, and activity rooms, as well as staff and resident bedrooms. The space also includes six ADA-compliant bathrooms, a handicap ramp, and a centrally located elevator to ensure full mobility and ease of use for all guests and staff. Auburn’s construction management team played a critical role in not only executing the project, but also in securing and coordinating a wide range of donated goods and services from the local community, demonstrating the collaborative spirit that defined this build. Auburn Construction’s long-standing relationship with HOPe continues today; we are currently under construction on a new ground-up addition to the facility, scheduled for completion in 2025–2026. This ongoing partnership reflects our shared dedication to creating spaces that offer dignity, opportunity, and care to individuals with developmental differences and their families.
